A British tourist who scoffs “20 bags of crisps a day” has reviewed the local brands on offer while on holiday.
One “disgusting” flavour only received a single point.
Rhys Stroulger said he plans to sample all the local crisps available in every country he visits during his European vacation.

The 30-year-old started his holiday in Cyprus and plans to move on to Corfu, Albania and finally Italy.
During his two-week stay in Paphos, Rhys popped to the local supermarket to fill up on bags of local potato chips.
The content creator explained: “As someone who eats 20 bags of crisps a day, I needed to see what Cyprus has to offer in the crisp world.”

Rhys, who lives in Croydon, south London, started with sea salt flavour, which he called “your classic ready salted crisp”.
He added: “They kind of taste like Lays or Walkers.

“I freaking love a ready salted crisp though so I’ll give these an eight out of 10.”
Next up was peanut and hazelnut flavour, which seemed doomed from the start.
Rhys, whose content is mostly based around food and travel, stated: “I hate peanuts and I hate hazelnuts.”

He even gagged at the mere smell of them.
Rhys said: “This is gross, they kind of look like little cheese balls.”
He popped one in his mouth and said: “Just as I suspected, freaking disgusting.”
He only gave the flavour a one out of 10.
Next up, Rhys tucked into a bag of Lay’s pepper and chive-flavoured baked crackers.
He exclaimed: “They’re absolutely coated in flavour.
“I do think they’re sour cream and chive, I love how thick the crisp is, it gives it a real crunch for me.”
They received a rank of 7.5/10.
The next bag was bacon-flavoured ‘Piggy’s’ crisps by Handy Snacks.
“They look exactly like Skips,” he said.
“I really love how light they are, they just melt in your mouth.
“Super super flavoursome.”
He awarded them an 8 out of 10.
For the final review, Rhys tucked into a bag of Lay’s yoghurt and herb-flavoured crisps.

He said: “Never heard of that flavour in my life!
“The flavour’s not too strong, it’s a very mild taste.
“I can’t really taste the yoghurt, I can definitely get like a herby flavour in there.
“I’ll give these a 6 out of 10.”
Rhys then held up the bacon-flavoured ‘Piggy’s’ crisps to the camera.
He concluded: “Winner, winner, chicken dinner, I would say these are the best out of the lot.
“Props to Piggy’s.”
He posted the video on his TikTok page where he has nearly 70,000 followers.
The clip is going viral with 3,000 views and hundreds of comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “Foudounia is the best.”

Anthony added: “Frankies are the best local crisps.”
“The bacon skips are top tier,” remarked Emz.
Mariano said: “Hazelnut and peanut sounds like a dream to me.”

Rhys also discovered a “secret beach” during his first days in Cyprus.
He shared a video of him spending a day on Olive Tree Beach in Paphos, which he referred to as “Cyprus’ best-kept secret”.
He said: “Cyprus, you have my heart.”
Rhys will travel to Corfu next on his trip.
