A mother elephant was spotted trying to lift her naughty calf over a boundary wall after it ended up stranded inside a government complex.
The mischievous animal managed to scale the concrete wall separating its natural habitat from the government building.
But it couldn’t get back over on its own.

In the video, the mum is seen waiting for her little calf on the other side of the wall.
The hapless animal wanders over to the corner of the concrete boundary and its mum tries to lift it up with her trunk.
The calf is seen desperately trying to scramble up the wall with its little limbs.
However, the mum cannot muster the strength in her trunk to lift it from the ground.
In the end, she had to walk through the main entrance to fetch her cheeky calf, according to local reports.

The video ends with the pair walking together inside the grounds before heading out of the main entrance.
Before mummy saved the day, the wayward animal found itself trapped in the Department of Fisheries complex near Temenggor Lake in Perak State, Malaysia.
The video has gone viral on Facebook with 2.1 million views and thousands of comments as reported by What’s The Jam.
