A cow has been found alive on beach after being dragged 70km by a flash flood.
Footage captured by a beachgoer showed the animal lying on the sand, visibly exhausted but still mooing.
It is believed to have been washed downstream and into the sea.

Locals were walking along the shoreline looking for belongings lost in the floods when they spotted the cow.

“We saw many dead cows washing up on shore and then we found this alive one,” the woman who filmed the video said.
“It travelled 70km and over an hour by car from where it came from – so it must have been in the sea for hours getting washed around. Poor thing.”
The woman contacted police and stayed with the animal until help arrived.
Authorities were later able to trace the cow back to its owner and arrange its safe return.

The remarkable survival has touched hearts across social media, with many praising the woman’s quick thinking and compassion, as reported by What’s The Jam.
