A couple has been reunited with their dog after he fell down an old mine shaft and got stuck down there for 54 hours.
Poppy Jackson and Rob Mordica were left distraught when their cockapoo – called Dennis – vanished.
Rob had taken him for a walk but he suddenly disappeared.

They launched a huge hunt for him including 60 volunteers.
Eagle-eyed Rob then spotted a narrow hole in the ground in the woods near to where he was last seen.
He heard scuffling and barking underground.
He peered in and spotted poor Dennis stuck 6ft below him.
Poppy, 25 and 31-year-old Rob, of Thornberry, West Yorks were eventually able to coax him out with treats.

They were then able to put a lead on him.
Dennis vanished last Wednesday (Nov 13) morning and was found on Friday (Nov 15) afternoon.
It happened in Guisborough Woods, near the village of Hutton, east of Middlesbrough.

Poppy told What’s The Jam: “There are a lot of open holes which apparently go down to the tunnels and he must have fallen down one of those.
“I looked in one of the holes and saw his face, but he was obviously scared.
“I tempted him to come closer by dropping treats and eventually Rob managed to get his arm down, put a slip lead on him and drag him about 6ft up to the surface.
“He’d been missing for so long I really thought he might be dead, but apart from being completely exhausted and hungry, he seems to be okay.
“He certainly slept well that night and has had plenty of hugs and cuddles.”
She added: “His recall is usually very good, but not this time.
“Something must have distracted him and he fell down the hole.
“People should be extremely careful walking in this area and these openings must be fenced off.”
