A cosy cat has been seen snuggling up on a stove top to keep warm in freezing conditions.
Normally, furry pets don’t go straight for the hob in the kitchen if they’re looking for a nice spot to settle in.
But Courtney Lichtenberger filmed this exact heartwarming scene at home, showing cats really do prioritise staying toasty.

“My fiancé and I had just finished using the oven to make a pizza,” the copywriter, 32, told What’s The Jam.
“My cat, Bear, somehow found that the stovetop was nice and warm from the oven being on and curled up right on top of it.
“It was a high of about 8F (-13°C) that day.
“Even though our house was set to 70F (21°C), there were areas in our house that were a little cooler than normal.”
The post by Courtney from Kansas City in Missouri, US, gained 235,000 likes and viewers adored it.
