A woman has shared the moment a monkey stole and ran away with her phone.
In the video – which went viral garnering 180,000 views on TikTok – 25-year-old traveller Pasha Von Beck says: “A monkey has just stolen my phone from inside the villa.
“Taken the case off and ran away with it.”

The footage shows the monkey on the floor with Pasha’s phone case smashed open, her phone removed from it.
Pasha and the villa staff attempted to bribe the monkey with fruit, causing the monkey to hiss at the group.
Moments later, the monkey had disappeared from the villa with Pasha’s phone.
She later discovered the cheeky primate had inadvertently turned her phone off, leaving her unable to trace and retrieve it.
Speaking exclusively to What’s The Jam, Pasha said: “Looking back I find the whole thing hilarious – in these situations I can’t help but laugh.”

The clip was filmed in Uluwatu, Bali.
