A man has rescued over 120 pets after setting up an animal ambulance service.
Daniel Jordan left his job in security in January so he could be on call to rescue pets 24 hours per day.
He decided to set up the service after discovering that a pet ambulance that used to run in the area was forced to close due to the pandemic.

The 35-year-old bought a car to ferry sick animals to the vets – and now, has saved over 120 pets to date.
“We can be called any time and I just drop what I’m doing,” Daniel, from West Yorkshire, told What’s the Jam.
“We get calls from the elderly, disabled people or people who can drive but the situation is too distressing for them and the last thing they want to do is get in the car.
“We get calls at three and four in the morning.
“It’s a lifeline for them.

“It can be traumatic for pet owners if something happens to their animal.
“We’ve had a lot of success stories. It’s about being time critical.
“I dealt with a Cocker Spaniel who had collapsed. The owner called us and we were there in 20 minutes.

“We gave it oxygen and took it to the vets where it had emergency surgery.
“It’s amazing knowing that we played a part in saving the dog’s life.
“Then I had the pleasure of picking him up three days later and taking him back to his owner.
“It’s all about getting the pet back to its owner for me.”
Daniel receives around three calls per day and is called out in the middle of the night twice per week.
The car is fitted with an oxygen machine, first aid kit and a stretcher for larger dogs.
Daniel covers the whole of West Yorkshire and charges the pet owner based on the mileage.
He said: “It’s a really rewarding job and you get a lot of satisfaction. It’s such a worthwhile service.
“We’ve gone from strength to strength and we’ve saved lots of lovely animals.
“It’s a full-time commitment.”
Daniel and wife Leah, 35, have six dogs which they fostered and decided to keep.
Daniel added: “We’ve had dogs all our lives.
“I’ve always loved animals. Pets are part of the family. We treat every animal as our own.
“It’s my absolute dream job, I love animals so it’s fantastic for me.
“It can be really upsetting seeing pets at the end of life.
“It pulls at your heart strings if they don’t make it.
“I also collect pets that have passed away and take them to be cremated then take the ashes to their family.
“We make sure the pet has the dignity and respect it deserves.”
