An alligator has been spotted lurking in an underground storm pipe
The reptile was found “just chillin’” in the two-foot wide drain.
Council workers spotted the gator during a routine inspection of the underground tube.

The authorities used a remote-controlled camera to check the storm pipe under Lockwood Boulevard in Oviedo City, near Orlando, Florida, US.
They were looking for possible cracks and leaks but instead came across the small alligator.
The city council previously shared images of an alligator in the same pipe in 2023, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Following the latest sighting, a spokesperson said: “You loved him the first time around and now he’s back!
“We did a routine check of the pipe under Lockwood Boulevard and discovered our friend was back, just chillin’.

“While looking for cracks and anomalies, they found this cutie.
“The first part of the video has been sped up to show the work they were doing before following the alligator.
“Also, the pipes are good. No leaks.”

They added: “We aren’t sure if this is the same alligator from a few years ago, but it’s just as fun to watch.”
One local joked: “That is a hardworking gator, ensuring the city pipes are in good condition at all times.”

“I think he’s smiling for the camera,” added Amanda.
Eileen said: “What’s next, Ninja Gators?”

It was spotted last Wednesday (14 May).
