An “adorable” airport worker has melted hearts by sitting down on the tarmac to comfort a dog travelling in the hold.
The touching moment was captured at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as French bulldog Goku waited inside his travel crate.
Footage shows the ground handler stopping beside the animal’s carrier while it sits on a luggage cart.

Rather than immediately continuing with his work, he lowers himself beside the crate and appears to strike up a reassuring conversation with the nervous passenger, as reported by Whats The Jam.
He can be seen leaning towards Goku and placing his hands on the carrier as he keeps the pooch company.
The dog’s owner, Martine Kjartansdottir, spotted the interaction while anxiously watching from the terminal.
It was the first time she’d flown with Goku in the aircraft’s hold, and she had been nervously searching for him from the gate.
Martine, who also filmed the encounter, said seeing how gently the handler treated her beloved pet brought her to tears.
She said: “I was flying for the first time with my dog in the hold and I was so nervous.
“I was looking for him while I stood at the gate.
“I then saw this amazing man who works in ground handling treating my dog so well.
“It made me tear up and made me feel very safe.”
Martine shared the video through Goku’s Instagram account, where she thanked the worker for making her dog’s flight feel safe.
Text placed over the clip reads: “KLM, please give this man a pay rise.”
The heartwarming footage has since gone viral, attracting over 19.3 million views and 979,000 likes.
KLM also responded to the video, writing: “Thank you for capturing this beautiful moment.”
One viewer joked: “Promote him to Senior Dog Assistant Specialist.”
