An adorable litter of eight puppies named after Lord of the Rings characters have all found their fur-ever homes.
The “precious” pups – Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Frodo, Samwise, Galadriel, Éowyn and Arwen – were born after their mum was rescued from a local pound.
Staff discovered the mixed-breed pooch was pregnant shortly after she was taken in – and a few weeks later she gave birth to her magical litter.

Now, all eight siblings have been adopted and are setting off on their next big adventure – not to Mordor, but to their new family homes, as reported by What’s The Jam.
However, their devoted mum is still waiting to find her own loving owner at Dogs Trust Ballymena, Northern Ireland.

Heart-melting photos show the pups posing in front of a Dogs Trust sign reminding people: “A dog is for life, not just for Christmas.”
A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Meet our precious Lord of the Rings litter: Aragon, Gimli, Legolas, Frodo, Samwise, Galadriel, Éowyn and Arwen.
“These siblings are ready for their next adventure, not to Mordor, but their forever homes as they have all found their new families.

“Wish them all luck on their new adventures.
“Their mum came into the care of Dogs Trust Ballymena from the pound whilst she was pregnant.
“She is still in our care and will be ready to find a home of her own soon.”
