A runaway kangaroo wearing a nappy has been captured by cops.
The four-month-old marsupial was spotted hopping along the road near a school.
The police said the wayward animal was “last seen wearing a blue harness and a diaper.”

It was bouncing around near the John D. Floyd Elementary School in Spring Hill, north of Tampa, Florida, US, on Wednesday (Nov 13).
A Hernando County Sheriff Department spokesperson said: “Animal Enforcement Officers are in the area of J.D. Floyd Elementary School searching for a lost kangaroo.
“The kangaroo was possibly last seen hopping toward Plantation Palms.
“The kangaroo is four months old and was last seen wearing a blue harness and a diaper.”
Half an hour later, the police added: “Last seen eastbound on Wind Chime at about 3.20.

“Not kidding. It’s a lost kangaroo.”
The panic was over 10 minutes later when the nappy-wearing marsupial was rounded up by the cops.
It was captured in the residential area of Plantation Estates.

The police said: “Lost kangaroo update.
“The kangaroo has been detained in Plantation Estates.
“Thank you for all assistance.”
One local said: “A what? I swear living in Florida is like being in a Jumanji movie.”
Tim said: “I’m glad they specified the blue harness and diaper to differentiate from all the other kangaroos you see every day.”
Christine joked: “Maybe he went to the outback?”
Another said:: “Poor baby. I hope he is found safe and returned to its owner.”
Judy remarked: “This is a first. I have chased horses and cows in the past, but never a kangaroo.”
It was not the only nappy-wearing kangaroo to escape from its home in the US.
In April last year, nine-month-old Beau escaped through an open back door in Sparta near Nashville, Tennessee.
Todd and Stacey Watson offered a reward to help find their missing kangaroo, as reported by What’s The Jam.
They also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with the search, which lasted multiple weeks.
It’s unclear if they ever found the missing marsupial.
