A woman has shared the spectacular moment a group of dolphins started racing her to the shore.
Isabelle O’Shea was out paddle boarding when the ocean mammals joined her.
The teacher, from Exeter, shared the incredible encounter on Instagram, racking up over 2,000 views and hundreds of likes.

In the clip, she films three dolphins diving in and out of the blue waters.
Isabelle, known as The Dolphin Lady on social media, then captures a dolphin swimming right underneath her paddle board.
She captioned the post: “First time lucky.
“After what felt like a very long winter, I went out for my first paddle of the year last night.
“I decided to head out to Berry Head after carefully checking out the tides and currents but by the time I got there, I had apparently missed them by 15 min.

“It was such a beautiful evening I decided to wait for a while whilst watching guillemots fly over my head with the warmth of the evening sun on my back.
“Patience paid off as I watched a small pod of dolphins heading out to Torquay.
“Common dolphins are generally quite playful and nosey so I decided to up my speed and started paddling back to shore as fast as I could.

“Before I knew it, I had 2 dolphins on each side of my paddle board, one under it and one in front of it!
“Pure bliss.
“Unfortunately, I failed to film any of it and ended up filming my arms instead but the memory will stay with me for ever.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many people left amazed.

Isabelle caught the spectacle on 9 May – but it’s not the first time she’s been in close contact with these sea creatures.
She also spotted a pod of up to 30 playful dolphins last summer and most recently, some footage of the RNLI team rescuing a humpback whale in Cornwall.
