A pod of joyful dolphins have been spotted frolicking on the Liverpool coast.
It’s believed there were up to 15 at once, reports What’s The Jam.
The incredible footage was captured at Liverpool Bay, racking up 35,000 views and hundreds of likes.
In the clip, the marine animals appear to bob in and out of the choppy waves.

Then, they surround the boat, gliding in groups as they try to impress those on board.
“There was an incredible sight for Hoylake RNLI’s volunteer lifeboat crew today when they found themselves in amongst a large pod of bottlenose dolphins out in Liverpool Bay!,” said the RNLI.
“The curious cetaceans surrounded the lifeboat and began swimming alongside, riding the boat’s bow wave and playing in its wake.
“After capturing this incredible footage, the lifeboat quickly moved on from the area to continue with crew training and to let the dolphins feed in peace.”

The volunteer crew were completing a training exercise when the incredible moment occurred on 16 June (Sunday).
While they’re not a common sight, bottlenose dolphins are sometimes seen alongside other marine mammals such as grey seals.
