A bizarre face off between a mouse and a snail has been sealed with a kiss.
The mammal and the mollusc went eyeball to eyestalk on a twig in a garden.
Both seemed shocked by the encounter with the mouse freezing and the snail blowing defensive bubbles.

But all ended well with the snail giving the mouse a kiss.
It was videoed by photographer Gez Robinson in Norfolk.
“My friend lets his harvest mice climb around in the garden,” wildlife lover Gez told What’s The Jam.
“And I film them from a distance, and sometimes I capture amazing moments like this.
“The mouse is called Mr Jingles, and he just came across the snail.
“He froze when he saw it.
“It was an unlikely pairing.
“It looked like they were having a chat.
“But I love capturing these moments.”
Gez has a wildlife haven in his own back garden in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
He built homes for mice there and regularly videos them going about their lives.
