A self-proclaimed ‘catfish’ says she uses the glow-up technique to get free drinks at bars.
Patricia Lichtenberger, a make-up artist and content creator with over 4,300 followers, says she is treated better when she changes her appearance.
The 50-year-old ‘master catfish’ has gone viral in the past for her insane transformations which make her look decades younger.

And the fame has had its upsides.
“When I actually go out in public like supermarkets, I get stared at a lot,” Patricia told What’s The Jam.

“And I know people want to come up and say something.
“I’ve had a few that do say ‘hello’ and ask questions, even though I don’t know them.
“And I have had a few instances where people let me cut in line.

“Another time I was paying at the cash register and a man was staring at me hardcore.
“I saw in my peripheral vision, of course.

“Men have stared at me up and down without saying anything, it is all normal to me.

“Sometimes it’s funny because they don’t know who I am underneath.”
Patricia has even used ‘catfishing’ on nights out.
She said: “At bars, it’s a different story, I get women who say they love my makeup or say something about my eyeshadow of how pretty it is.
“Since I’ve grown my natural hair out, I receive so many compliments since then while wearing makeup.
“They think I’ve coloured my hair grey since it’s a trend going around.
“Men make facial expressions as I’m walking around as if I’m getting gawked at.
“I’ve had one say ‘you know you’re beautiful, right?”
“And I always say, ‘oh yes I know I am.’”
But Patricia says she is not responsible for the gawking men.
The 50-year-old, from Cuba and Kansas, US, added: “Hey, if there wives are around, they don’t like their husbands looking at me.
“It’s not my fault I’m beautiful inside and out!
“It’s not just my make-up, it’s my positivity and empowerment, and people say I have a bubbly personality.
“I love to spice up my life and become who I want, if I am not hurting anybody or causing a ruckus, let me be me.”
Patricia has gathered over five million views across her social media videos.
