A savvy Brit has revealed how many tasty meals she made from just one £25 Marks & Spencer shop.
Kayla Daniels showcased her bargain-hunting skills by putting together 12 different meals that worked out at just £2 a dish.
The 38-year-old made three breakfasts, three lunches, three dinners and three nutritious snacks.

Not only are the dishes cheap, they are all packed with goodness with each meal hitting around 120g of protein and 30g of fibre – all whilst adding up to just 1,700 calories a day.
From sweet pancakes to protein packed power bowls – the 35 item shopping list was put to good use.
The haul from Marks & Spencer cost her just £25, as reported by Whats The Jam.

“M&S Shop for £25 which made three breakfasts, three lunches and three dinners,” said Kayla, a nutritional therapist from Birmingham.
“I know the final three aren’t meals but it makes a high protein and fibre snack that will last 3-4 days.”

The food shop was done on 13 Sep and left Kayla able to make the following dishes:
Baked berry protein pancakes, chicken sweet potato and bean bowl, green goddess halloumi and lentil power bowl and chickpea protein bars.
To put together Kayla’s menu, you will need the following ingredients:
0% Greek-style yoghurt x 2 Eggs x 12 Oakham Gold chicken mince, 500g Reduced-fat halloumi, 180g Sweet potatoes, 1kg Tin of kidney beans × 1 Tin of chickpeas × 2 Frozen/fresh raspberries, 300g Bananas x 5 Pepper x 1 Carrots Cherry tomatoes Gem lettuce Cucumber Spring Onion Lemon Chia seeds Peanut butter

Firstly, to put together the baked berry protein pancakes you will need per portion the following items:
40g oats 150g Greek yoghurt 1 egg ½ banana 100g raspberries 10g chia 10g peanut butter Cinnamon
The breakfast dish works out at 400 calories and is packed with 30g of protein and 10g of fibre.
To make the dish, Kayla recommends blending the ingredients together and pouring the mixture into three oven dishes before baking them for 25 mins at 180 degrees.
Then for lunch, the savvy Brummie opts for a chicken, sweet potato & bean bowl – which is between 450 and 500 calories but contains 40g of protein and 10g of fibre.
The dish requires the following ingredients per portion:
165g chicken mince 150g sweet potato ⅓ tin kidney beans 1/3 pepper 1 small Carrot Onion Chopped tomatoes Smoked paprika Cumin Garlic/chilli

Kayla said: “In a deep frying pan, cook your chicken in the spices, kidney beans, chopped pepper and diced carrot, onion and chopped tomatoes for 30-40 mins.
“Then chop your sweet potatoes and roast them in some olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.”
The 38-year-old’s dinner option consists of a Green Goddess halloumi & lentil power bowl.
The dish is packed with 33g of protein and 15g of fibre – whilst totalling to just 500 calories.
Each portion requires:
60g reduced-fat halloumi ½ tin lentils ½ tin chickpeas Little Gem Cucumber Spring onion Cherry tomatoes Olive oil, Smoked Paprika, S&P, Garlic powder seasoning for chickpeas Green Goddess dressing
Kayla said: “Roast your chickpeas In the seasoning for 20 mins at 180.
“Chop up your salad bits and I like to heat through the lentils.
“Slice and fry your halloumi and assemble.
“Whatever dressing you do, don’t put it on until you eat it.”
Finally, are the chickpea protein bars that last up to four days and work as a perfectly healthy snack to get you through the week.
The bar requires per portion:
Jar of chickpeas 45g vanilla protein powder 1 small banana (~90g peeled) 50g almond butter cinnamon A small splash of semi-skimmed milk
Kayla explained: “Blend and pour into a baking dish and bake at 180 for 25-30mins.”
