A cheese-loving couple turned their wedding into the ultimate feast by serving a giant 8ft pizza instead of a traditional dinner.
Beth and Brandon Duhon decided to ditch the usual wedding food when they tied the knot earlier this month.
The couple, both 24, are self-confessed pizza fanatics, so when it came to planning their big day, there was only ever going to be one main course.

“We really wanted to do something different,” Beth told What’s The Jam.
“We’ve been to weddings with multi-course dinners or the traditional Texas BBQ, but it just came down to the both of us loving pizza…a lot.”
Instead of ordering in, they hired Dirt Road Cookers, a local company known for its giant pizzas, to cook up an 8ft pizza on-site in a massive, mobile wood-fired oven.
And that’s not all.
They also made a second oversized pizza in the shape of a heart, topped with pepperoni initials of the bride and groom.

Beth said: “Our groomsmen and some close friends all chipped in to spread the sauce, add the cheese, and all our favourite toppings.
“They really created the pizza with all the love.
“We had no backup plan. We were nervous at the beginning of the week due to high chances of rain for the day of the wedding.

“But Saturday came and the sun came out and it was the most perfect day.
“Everyone was in awe. So many came up to my husband and I and said they couldn’t describe ‘us’ more perfectly than something outrageous and spontaneous as the 8ft pizza.”
The pizza became the main event at the Rio Bella Resort venue, with 160 guests gathering around to watch it being made during cocktail hour.
Incredibly, it took a whopping six people to lift the extremely heavy gigantic pizza into the oven.
Beth, who works as a tax accountant, said the whole setup – including both the 8ft pizza and the heart-shaped one – set them back $1,400 (£1,050).
But not everyone was convinced by the idea at first.
Beth said: “Tons of people were sceptical
“When we told our family and friends what we wanted to do, they were a little sceptical about having to eat pizza.
“But once they realized it wasn’t just the standard-size pizza, they were all on board.
“At some point or another, everyone ate the pizza.
“We handed out boxes of the leftovers and had them as a late-night snack that night or ate them for lunch the following day.
“More than anything, we inspired others to think outside the box when it comes to their wedding.
“It doesn’t matter what other people are doing or what other people think – what matters is that it’s your day and ‘as long as you’re happy’, which is what my dad kept telling me when I was describing what I was wanting for our wedding.”
Once the enormous pizza was ready, guests lined up buffet-style to grab slices, served with salad and drinks.
Toppings included cheese, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions and a special sauce.
A giant pizza cutter made slicing it up a breeze and the whole thing was ready to serve in just five minutes.
The couple, from Texas, US, even chose to spend part of their honeymoon in the home of pizza.
Beth added: “We’ve always been pizza lovers.
“So much so that part of our honeymoon was spent in Naples, Italy.”
