A fitness influencer has pleaded for help after claiming she could face prison abroad over serious traffic accidents she insists she never committed.
Tara McCloud, known online as Tarasbody, says she was stopped by immigration officers as soon as she touched down at the airport.
She claims the authorities accused her of being responsible for several “serious” road accidents in 2025 and demanded compensation.

The French-American content creator insists she does not hold a driving licence and says she was not in Dubai when the alleged incidents took place.
She claims investigators produced a passport and a driving licence in her name, neither of which she says belongs to her.

McCloud says she avoided immediate detention by showing officials proof that she had left the United Arab Emirates in April 2024.
She claims she is now subject to a travel ban and must wait for a court decision before she can leave the country.
The influencer says she contacted the French consulate for assistance but was told it could not intervene in local judicial proceedings.

In a video posted on 15 October, she appealed for help and said she believed someone had used her identity to commit the alleged offences.
The case has not been independently verified, and the claims about identity theft and the alleged road accidents remain unproven.
She has been unable to leave the country while the legal process continues, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The influencer, who has 1.8m YouTube subscribers and 680,000 Instagram fans, describes herself as a certified sports coach and model.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, she developed dance workouts combining exercise with music and choreography, turning her two passions into a career.
