An influencer who had his legs stretched to become taller has been mocked because he appears to walk with a limp
Yeferson Cossio has announced his confirmed new height in a before-after video.
The 29-year-old hit the headlines for undergoing the ‘world’s most painful operation’ to become several inches taller ten months ago.

The Colombian influencer, who used to be 5’8” (1.77m) tall, said he is now officially 6’07” (1.85m).
The clip shows Cossio hobbling over to a cardboard cut-out of himself at his previous height, notably several inches shorter than he is now.
He shoves the cut-out to the ground and shares a series of snaps from last year to today to show the difference in his appearance.
The tattooed influencer, who boasts a luxury lifestyle and fleet of high-end cars, said: “From 1.77 to 1.85.
“I just uploaded a video on my YouTube channel showing you the surgeries and treatments I’ve gone through all these months, I highly recommend it.”

However, he was widely mocked by fans for his bizarre procedure, as reported on What’s the Jam.
One fan commented: “I prefer to walk well at 1.77cm than walk with a limp at 1.85.”
Another said: “And now he walks like a robot. He has spaghetti legs but is a little bit taller… oops.”

Reina remarked: “And was it worth it? I really doubt it.”
Aaron commented: “I challenge you to jump one metre high…”
At the time, he told his 11.7 million Instagram followers: “I underwent the most painful surgery in the entire world.
“Just as it’s the most painful operation, it is also one of the most expensive.”
Cossio reportedly paid between COP 200 million and 700 million (£38,543 and £134,900) for the treatment.
The influencer, who comes from Antioquia, north west of Bogota, Colombia, has been sharing updates of his progress on Instagram.
In May, he announced that he had removed his external fixator from his legs after eight months.
He shared a video of him learning to walk again with the aid of a pulley system at a physiotherapy centre in June.
