An influencer has revealed how he splashed the cost of a weekly food shop on chocolate-covered strawberries – but the big question is, are they actually worth it?
Carmie Sellitto headed to the infamously pricey Harrods food hall, determined to put Godiva’s luxury fruit to the test.
The 26 year old admitted he was sceptical the strawberries would offer anything special – but he was left seriously surprised by the results, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Sharing a clip of the taste test on TikTok, where he has more than 1.3 million followers, the London-based food reviewer shows off the iconic orange Godiva box.
He says: “This looks so boujee.
“So they’re chocolate-covered strawberries.”
Carmie then tucks in – and is immediately blown away.
Holding up the bright red fruit to the camera, he says: “The strawberries they’ve used taste so good and so fresh.

“They taste like they were born yesterday.
“And the chocolate just melts in your mouth.
“Like it is actually incredible.”

He then takes another bite and peels back some of the chocolate to show the detail.
He adds: “The chocolate is engraved in the strawberry pattern.
“Why do I find that kind of beautiful?
“The chocolate itself tastes like very expensive advent calendar chocolate.
“They have the most expensive chocolate with the most expensive strawberries.
“It’s like the perfect collab.”
Despite the rave review, Carmie rates the treats a 7.5 out of 10 – explaining that “they get a bit sickly”.
The video has since clocked up more than 241,000 views, over 12,000 likes and hundreds of comments from stunned viewers.
