A Brit living in Benidorm believes that the holiday spot is becoming the “new Ibiza” as it offers more “bang for your buck”.
Harry Poulton regularly shares his travel tips and advice about the Spanish location with his 50,000 followers on TikTok (@harrytokky).
He recently urged Brits to avoid one “dangerous” area when visiting the sunny spot, as there’s a high chance belongings will be stolen.

Now, in a clip racking up 13,000 views and hundreds of likes, he’s crowned Benidorm the “new Ibiza” as people are flocking there to party instead, reports Whats The Jam.
The content creator begins: “I’m telling you, Benidorm is going to be the next Ibiza.

“Mark my words.”
The 24-year-old, from Brighton, lists the things he loves about the holiday destination.
He said: “It’s known for cheap drinks, cheap accommodation, and it’s very close to the UK.

“Generally, only a two-and-a-half-hour flight.”
Despite reports that it has been a “ghost town” this summer, it saw a hotel occupancy rate of 90.5% in the second half of July, according to Cool Radio Spain.
And Harry says it’s only getting more popular.

He added, “Benidorm is getting busier and busier.
“And I reckon this summer is going to be the busiest summer in Benidorm’s history.
“That is why I’m telling you, mark my words, Benidorm is going to take over.
“It’s going to be better than Ibiza.”
He notes the clubbing spot is “expensive” and “overpriced” for what you get.
He said: “Isn’t it true that you get bottles of water for like €10?
“I mean, that’s just crazy.
“Benidorm is coming for Ibiza’s crown.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions.
“Ibiza days are done, it’s dead there. Benidorm is okay, but Majorca [and] Zante are both of a different class,” said Keith. [sic]

Another user added: “I hope not, if it does, Benidorm will start getting expensive. We all need Benni to stay the same.” [sic]

“I wish the young ones went back to Ibiza,” Nicky commented.
