A bungling Brit abroad was left stranded after hopping off a bus for a quick toilet break – only for it to drive off without her.
Annie Martyn was left in a panic when her dash to the loo saw her stuck 6,000 miles from home.
The 32-year-old had been on a seven-hour sleeper bus with no toilet when it stopped at a petrol station – and she seized her chance.

But despite the driver giving passengers the all clear to go, Annie returned to find the bus – and all her luggage – had vanished.
The nightmare moment later blew up online, racking up a whopping 5.2 million views and more than 119,000 likes.
“I knew I didn’t have long so I went as fast as I could, I even ran back from the toilet to the front of the fuel station,” Annie, from Bristol, told What’s The Jam.

“When I got there, it was too late – the bus had already gone.
“I started to panic a little bit and looked up for help.”

The traveller had been making the journey from Quy Nhon to Hoi An in Vietnam on 30 March when things took a dramatic turn.
As panic set in, a woman at the station signalled Annie over and told her the bus would be returning to pick her up.
But while she waited, Annie noticed the AirTag in her luggage moving further and further away.

Luckily, a Good Samaritan and his daughter stepped in and told her another bus would actually pick her up.
Annie said: “About 20-30 minutes later, a bus arrived and I got on.
“I asked the co-driver how I would get my luggage.
“He replied to say he would take me to Da Nang to pick it up, approximately a 1.5 hour detour for me.
“Five minutes later, he signalled to me and I saw my first bus parked up on the side of the road ahead.

“They dropped me off and I collected all my luggage and booked a Grab to my hostel.”
The bizarre ordeal left viewers in stitches online.
One person said: “Happened to me too.”

Another user added: “This was my biggest fear, I stayed relatively close to the bus.”
One other person said: “At least they let you pee. I was stuck on a bus for 14 hours and they would not stop…I thought I was going to die.”
Another user said: “Welcome to traveling.”

And one more person added: “Biggest fear.”
