Brits sprinted to secure the best poolside sunbed spots even after queuing for an hour.

Holidaymakers didn’t waste any time finding the best loungers at the hotel.

Staff opened up the pool area as guests hot-footed it to them.

But some broke out into a little dash towards the sunbeds.

After standing in line from 8 am onwards, the orderly line became a free-for-all all with punters sprinting to their desired spots.

Determined dads and marching mothers armed with multiple beds in their family, towels ahead of a full day of lounging.

One punter can even be seen throwing a rope barrier out of the way to get to the beds quicker.

Isabelle Hanssen watched on stitches as pool goers flooded her surroundings.

The hilarious footage was captured at the Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort, Las Palmas, on the Canary island of Lanzarote, Spain.

The Netherlands native enjoyed her holiday morning watch yesterday (29 May).

It came after she filmed Brits and Germans lining up for their desired beds the day before.

Despite the rush from guests, Isabelle confirmed that there are more than enough sunbeds for all at the hotel.

“Nothing like the 9:30 am sunbed sprint to start your relaxing holiday,” Isabelle told What’s The Jam.

Members of the public slammed the Brits’ behaviour abroad.

Patrik Nordstrm said: “Faith in humanity destroyed.”

Carole Thompson added: “Clampits on tour.”
