A humanoid robot crashed to the ground during a show and fell to pieces in front of a shocked crowd at a science show.
The droid was unceremoniously dumped to the floor by a robotic arm.
The android disintegrated in front of stunned spectators.

The accident took place at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum in Shanghai, China, on Sunday (8 Mar).
It happened during the science show ‘The Rebirth of the Mysterious Terracotta Warriors’, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Footage showed the green-eyed droid being presented to the crowd by the robotic arm.
While held aloft in the air, the robot struck several poses and moved its mechanic limbs.
At one point, the robotic arm’s claw swivelled to the side and the android slipped off.

It plunged several feet, shattering upon impact with the floor.
Audience members gasped in shock.
“It’s so fragile! I’ve dropped my iPhone numerous times and it still works,” said one local.

Another asked: “How could it smash like that from such a low height, are robots made of glass?”
A third added: “Is the white robot made of porcelain?”
Currently, the museum has yet to issue a statement about the accident.
