A café has left coffee drinkers shocked after adding a new drink to the menu: a bell pepper latte.
Thankfully, the unusual drink also includes a cup, should the vegetable crack while you’re sipping it.
The latte itself – served at Kwong Cheung Loong Kopitiam Bar – doesn’t actually contain any bell pepper but is left to soak inside the capsicum annuum.

Rich in Vitamin C and other antioxidants, the vegetable is a great addition to any diet… but does it belong in a latte?
“Really?!,” asks one stunned social media user, adding several crying laughing emojis, to which the café replies, “Just give it a try. Taste great and exceptional.”
This isn’t the only strange coffee that the café offers, as reported by What’s The Jam.
They have previously served macchiatos inside oranges as well as added a blackened egg, fermented bean curd and more.
And it’s not just the drinks that get a special twist.

The venue likes to play around with its meals too, having created a double decker burger using fried chicken as the bun.
Kwong Cheung Loong Kopitiam Bar can be found in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
