If the mum-of-two got a Spice Girl to comment on her Instagram post, he would cook dinner for a month.
It had all been intended as a bit of fun – so the couple were stunned when one actually responded.
Mel B, also known as ‘Scary Spice’, said: “Well it looks like your husband needs to get cooking.”

The post has over six million views and over 121,000 reactions.
“I’m a massive Spice Girls fan, so I thought it would be funny after seeing a similar post online about the Backstreet Boys [if I challenged my husband for me to get a comment from a Spice Girl] in exchange for him cooking dinner for a month,” Natalie told What’s The Jam:

“We run our small business Fred & Noah together and have done for 11 years so I thought it might also help business!”
“I never expected six million people to view my post or even a Spice Girl to reply!”
Natalie confirmed that her Dan has since put together a menu and starts cooking tomorrow.

One person responded to Mel B’s comment: “I think he needs to cook for at least the rest for 2025.”
When asked what he is likely to be whipping up in the kitchen, she said: “Jamie Olivier’s 5 ingredient sausage meatball pasta – the only dish he cooks well, it’s delicious!
“And I suspect we might last a couple of days before I take over again when the kids start complaining.”
Other users flocked to the comments.
“I knew Mel b would be in the comments, she’s a girls girl,” one person said.

Inga added: “I am a spice girl, I eat spicy food. Does that count?”
A verified account for Santa Claus commented: “I offered to cook for a whole month, Mrs. Claus said, ‘no thank you.’”
“I was sporty spice in my highschool tribute band…Does that count?” someone else said.
Leslie commented: “Tell him what you want. What you really really want.”

Natalie and Daniel both run a small business together, Freddie & Noah, which they named after their two young sons, and founded in 2014.
The company makes luxury clothing for children aged 0-9 years.
