A man was left baffled after finding a famous alien looking up at him from his treat.
Savon Cummings was at his grandmother’s house when he went out to pick up some baked goods.
The 30-year-old was drawn to a box of freshly-glazed doughnuts.

Opening the box, he didn’t notice anything until heating up the dish.
“I didn’t take any notice and put it [the doughtnut] in the microwave,” Savon, from Mount Vernon, Illinois, US, told What’s The Jam.
“But when I took it out, I realised E.T. was looking at me.”
The videographer was bewildered, rushing to show the result to his family.
The character was made famous from the blockbuster E.T., directed by Steven Spielberg.

The movie tells the story of a young boy called Elliott, who befriends an extraterrestrial that has been left behind on Earth.
In an image of the alien doughnut, the treat can be seen with intricate lines across the top.
But the lines have re-created E.T.’s face.
