A group of lads on a stag do cruelly taped the groom-to-be to a tree and refused to free him until he’d raised €50 (£42).
Hilarious footage showed the hapless stag secured to the trunk with layer upon layer of cling film – from his neck to his knees.
The plastic was also wrapped around a nearby bin to make doubly sure there was no chance of him breaking free.

An overturned cap could be seen on the pavement by his feet.
Laddish cheers rang out as a pitying passer-by dropped a coin into it.
One of the group then poured beer into the stag’s mouth as a reward for scoring the donation.
The stag, who seemed to be taking the humiliation in good spirits, called out to another pedestrian for help.
Another cheer went up, followed by more liquid gold for the future hubby when another coin fell into the cap.

The clip – filmed in Barcelona, Spain, and shared on Sunday (1 June) – was captioned: “Until he reaches €50, we won’t let him go.”
It has since racked up 1.9m views, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One viewer said: “If you did that to me, I wouldn’t get married because no one ever gives me anything.”
