A sweet shop owner has been left horrified after finding a phallic jelly inside a pack of gummy mice.

Joanne Dollard, from Padstow, Cornwall, was bagging up the treats for the Bank Holiday weekend as part of her daily routine when she found something curious.

After picking it out of the mix, the 50-year-old discovered a jelly penis among the innocent mice.

Shocked, she turned to her supplier’s website to see if they stocked the item, but couldn’t find the “runaway willy” for sale – making it even more of a mystery.

“I had just got to work, I made a brew and thought I need to get these sweets bagged up,” Joanne, originally from St Helens, told What’s The Jam.

“So as I do every day, I began to pack them up.

“I opened a bag of giant jelly mice and noticed that one looked strange.

“Oh, my Christ!

“I was horrified when I figured out it was a sweetie willy – how rude!

“I even looked on my suppliers’ website afterwards and couldn’t find them.

“A runaway willy!”

The mum-of-three opened her sweet shop, Sugarmouse, in March 2023, selling treats, toys, drinks and old-fashioned goodies.

She said: “My husband was laughing his head off.

“And my kids were cracking up, too.

“My daughter even rang me because she couldn’t believe it.”

In the images, the bag of mice can be seen while the phallic sweet sits in the middle.

In another picture, Joanne picks up the sweet and it takes up most of her hand.

She shared the news with others, who were just as perplexed.

One person said: “I think it’s just a mutant mouse with a long neck.”

Someone else said: “I can’t stop laughing ahahahahahaha, that’s so funny.”

Joanne is still trying to figure out what to do with her phallic sweet and jokes she might keep it and frame it in the shop.
