Pop superstar Shakira appeared horrified after apparently locking eyes with Gerard Pique – her ex-husband – in the crowd at a sold-out show.
The 49-year-old was performing her dance hit Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 when she spotted her ex among the audience.
In the clip, the Colombian crooner was seen mingling with the crowd before her eyes suddenly widened and she reeled back in horror.

The cause of her shocked reaction was then revealed: a scary cardboard cut-out of her ex-hubby with devil horns and red eyes had been carted in by a fan.
The unexpected encounter took place at the Jorge El Mágico González National Stadium in the El Salvadorian capital San Salvador on Sunday night (15 Feb).
One fan said: “People go too far, that’s the father of her children.”
“Shakira said ‘keep that demon away from me’,” added another fan.
Walter joked: “Her eyes don’t lie, dude.”

But the mother-of-two apparently took it in good humour.
She split with former Barcelona and Man Utd defender Pique in June 2022 after 11 years together.
Shakira kicked off the latest leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in El Salvador with five dates.

On the opening night, the Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker was filmed falling over onstage at the El Mágico stadium, as reported by What’s The Jam.
She was performing her hit Si Te Vas when she tumbled over.
In the clip, Shakira bowed to her fans before running across the stage and apparently twisting her right ankle.
She crashed to the floor but then immediately got to her feet like a true pro.
“Ouch, what a fall,” she told the crowd.
