Oscar-winning Marvel actor Brie Larson tried the viral trend that left a woman with a broken spine.
The 35-year-old Hollywood star attempted the bizarre ‘Nicki Minaj’ balancing challenge.
The new trend sees people attempt to recreate a scene from one of the Trinidadian rapper’s iconic music videos.

In the song, High School, featuring Lil Wayne, Minaj poses next to a swimming pool with one leg resting on top of the other while carefully balancing in high heels.
Now online users – and even Captain Marvel herself – have been recreating the pose in a number of creative ways.
In a video shared on social media, Larson can be seen balancing on two tins of food while flicking through her new cookbook.
The 35-year-old actress, from Sacramento, California, has recently released Party People: A Cookbook for Creative Celebrations.
But the trend could have ended in tears.
Young mum and aspiring influencer, Mariana Barutkina, ended up breaking her spine while joining in on the hype.
The 32-year-old perched on top of a tub of baby formula that was placed on a saucepan in the middle of a kitchen island.
Mariana used her friend to support her, but after letting go, she took a shocking tumble backwards.
The horrific fall resulted in the mother being rushed to the hospital with a broken spine, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Mariana, who currently has 1,350 Instagram followers, said: “I decided to start a blog.
“The first content shoot, and here I am leaving the doctors with a diagnosis of a Th9 compression bending uncomplicated fracture.
“Irony? Karma? Or just life, which always tests our strength at the most unexpected moment?”
