The This Morning presenter and radio show host was discussing his career in the industry with Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes, co-hosts of the High Performance podcast.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner said: “If in four years time, I want to compete at the Olympics, as an Olympic gymnast and win gold – I can do it.
“All I’ve got to do for the next four years is train, it literally is that simple.
“We can all laugh at me, we can all sit there and go ‘yeah, alright mate’ but if I trained for the next four years, I could be on the Olympic squad.
“If I worked hard enough, it’s that simple.
“Have I got the time to do that? No. Do I want to do it? Not really.”
The High Performance podcast reposted the clip online on Monday (21 Jul) from an episode with Rylan that was originally posted back in January 2023.
And listeners were left stunned, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Peter Flores said: “What on earth is he on about.”

Katie King said: “Rylan should rise to this challenge and ITV should make a documentary about it.”
Luke added: “Baffles me how little people know about becoming an Olympian.”
One said: “We all have the same 24 hours vibes.”
