A celebrity astrologer who predicted Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury’s shock split has spoken out this morning to say the break-up was “written in the stars” – and share her predictions for the pair’s future.
Inbaal Honigman regularly shares her insights into the showbiz world and A-list love matches.
Back in December 2023, the psychic predicted the Love Island pair would “grow in different directions” over the course of the year.
A full year ago, she had stated they were “astrologically incompatible” due to their opposing star signs.
For Inbaal, at least, yesterday’s (14 August) announcement from Molly-Mae that the engagement was over, came as no surprise.
“Taurus is a sign that hates being alone, so Tommy may be cosying up to a different babe soon,” the 50-year-old, from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, told What’s The Jam.
“The Mercury retrograde suggests that exes have been reaching out, so there will be no shocked faces if the new lady is a former flame.
“Taurus is normally a faithful sign, but they waste no time in moving on when they feel that their existing relationship is done.
“Geminis like Molly-Mae don’t need a relationship to feel fulfilled, so she won’t be rushing into the arms of a new man anytime soon.”
As for why the relationship is ending now? Inbaal shared her thoughts.
The astrologer said: “The split was written in the stars.
“Molly-Mae is a Gemini – a fun and sociable sign, ruled by the planet Mercury.
“This is the planet of communication, which is why Gemini is so friendly and chatty.
“During the Mercury retrograde, which is the period of three weeks when Mercury appears to be going backwards in the sky, communication can be met with various challenges such as misunderstandings and awkward conversations.
“This impacts Geminis and Virgos more than others, since they are ruled by the planet Mercury.
“This would have created disharmony in Molly-Mae’s relationship, and their conversations within their romantic relationship would have become more impatient, more challenging – until recently coming to a head.
“The Mercury retrograde is a time of the past coming back into the present, and is characterised by catching up with old contacts, so it would be no surprise if we found out that Tommy or Molly-Mae’s exes are around, trying to get back with one of them.”
Despite her relationship woes, Inbaal says the stars point to Molly-Mae having a “very lucky summer” as a Gemini.
She said: “Starting 26 May and until 9 June 2025, the planet of luck called Jupiter, is in the sign of Gemini.
“This means that generous offers, work projects, and handsome paychecks are on the table for Geminis throughout those 12 months.
“Jupiter is a planet of expansion and brings good news of financial good fortune and a move in the right direction.
“Someone is giving Mollie Mae a blank cheque and a financial opportunity which she can’t refuse.”
Meanwhile, Tommy is – rather unsurprisingly – having a less fortunate time as a Taurus.
Inbaal said: “Tommy’s sign of Taurus has just had a difficult month, as Mars, the planet of war, was in this Earth sign between 9 June and 21 July – meaning that he may have been more cross and fiery at home.
“Now Mars has moved to Gemini, so it’s her turn to be annoyed.
“If Molly-Mae has to choose between impatience and misunderstandings at home or luxury and luck outside, the choice is obvious.”
