A hairstylist has gone viral revealing a clever hack for giving yourself a “facelift” at home with a hairstyle – but you’ll be risking a bit of a headache.
Andi Asmaro, a popular hairstylist with 36,000 followers on Instagram, shared a clip of him creating the “easy” style on a model.
He says the “hair hack” creates a facelift illusion by pulling hair up at the side of the face, lifting the brow and eye line.

Andi, who calls himself a ‘hair influencer’, called it a “facelift hack game changer”, and the video has gone viral on Instagram, garnering 90,000 views and thousands of likes.
In the clip, Andi starts by grabbing a small section of hair in line with the brow, before taking another section from above the ear, and securing them together with a mini elastic band.
He then says to “tie until you can no longer tie”, and tighten the band “until you see the brow and eye line being lifted”.
Andi, who is based in Sydney, Australia, says: “A facelift hack has never been so easy… magic, hey?”
While the model’s face appears visibly lifted, some viewers pointed out that it looked set to cause a headache due to the tight nature of the style.
