The mansion of Queen drummer, Roger Taylor, has gone on the market for $6 million.

The famous musician has listed his stunning home, situated behind a gated driveway in central Los Angeles.

The 1933 Spanish home has been restored and lovingly maintained by the rock star, who founded Queen with Freddie Mercury and Brian May in 1970.

Mercury sadly passed in 1991 at the age of 45, and for the past decade, Taylor and Adam Lambert have been collaborating as musicians, even landing a “Rhapsody” tour last year in America.

The 74-year-old drummer is now selling his home at 1521 North Kings Road, standing on a third of an acre.

He bought the property in 1981 for $352,000, (£280,000), and is now selling it on for $6,195,000, (£4,880,000).

Spread over 4,368 sq ft, the home comes with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a mix of indoor and outdoor living space.

Entering the home, you are welcomed with vaulted ceilings, mosaic tiles and a beautiful hanging chandelier.

Down to the right, you will find the open-plan kitchen and lounge area, complete with a dining table.

The kitchen consists of a large island, hanging lights, a wine closet and big windows that look out onto the private garden.

Further down, there is also another room with a large TV screen, sofa and pool table – the perfect space for entertaining guests.

Upstairs, each bedroom has its own bathroom and balcony, all with double beds and the master, even has a standalone bath.

Outside is a swimming pool and fire pit – perfect for those California summers.

The home – which featured on What’s The Jam – is completely closed off with a private driveway and a lot of shrubbery, making it something of a sanctuary in bustling LA.
