A mum was left horrified after discovering what appeared to be a pile of beard hair beneath a mirror at The Range.
Amy Harrowven was shopping at the homeware store when she spotted something unusual beneath one of the mirrors.
The 30-year-old said she initially thought the dark material was dirt.

But after taking a closer look, Amy realised it appeared to be human hair – with strands scattered across the floor and piled on the shelf underneath the mirror.
“Immediately I just thought it was absolutely vile,” Amy, from Broadstairs Kent, told Whats The Jam.
“It was 100% human hair.

“It looks as though a man with a beard has gone up to the mirror and had a shave.
“It was covered.”

The full-time carer had gone to the Broadstairs, Kent, store on 15 August intending to buy a mirror for her bedroom, filmed the discovery and shared it on TikTok with the caption: ‘The Range apparently now offering beard trimming services.’
The clip has racked up more than 340,000 views.
In the footage, the mum-of-four can be heard saying: “When you come into The Range to look at mirrors and someone’s come in and had a shave.

“A f***ing shave.”
She then points the camera towards the bottom of the mirror, where the clump of hair can be seen.
Amy says: “I’m like, ‘Ah, this one’s cute.’
“What the f***.
“I can’t get over that.”
Amy added: “When we were looking at the big selection of mirrors, wandering around, my daughter noticed something all over the bottom of one.
“She called me over and I realised it was hair.
“All across the bottom of the mirror and on the shelf the mirror was sitting on.
“It was covered in hair.”
Shocked commenters rushed to share their own horror stories about working in retail.
One commentor said: “Some people are so grim.”

Another person said: “I used to work in retail for a lot of years and the things I have seen, mostly people pooing in places they shouldn’t like the fitting room floor, all over the toilets and in the coffee shop. People are just disgusting.”
A third viewer added: “I worked in a department store and someone returned a pair of jeans and they still had their pants inside. It was mortifying telling her.”
Someone else said: “I work in retail and someone p*ssed in a water bottle in the changing room then left it in the corner. At least the hair can be hoovered up. FYI they were very dehydrated and should see a doctor.”

A fifth commenter added: “Nothing shocks me anymore. I work in hospitality and the amount of toenails I find when sweeping up is horrific.”
Jam Press has contacted The Range for comment.
