Starbucks is rolling out two new chilled drinks in supermarkets and grocery stores across the UK.
The coffee giant has added two permanent matcha flavours to its ready-to-drink range.
Shoppers can now get their hands on the Starbucks Matcha Latte and Strawberry Matcha Latte.

Both have a manufacturer’s recommended retail price of £2 and are arriving in stores across the UK throughout August, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The classic Matcha Latte combines milk with matcha, while the strawberry version adds a fruity twist.
And unlike many of the chain’s launches, fans won’t have to rush to try them.
Both drinks are permanent additions to Starbucks’ core ready-to-drink range rather than limited-edition seasonal products.

Starbucks executive Nik Dhodi confirmed the new range had launched across several European, Middle Eastern and African markets.

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, he said: “Matcha is having a moment, and for good reason.
“Consumers are looking for new rituals, balanced energy and great taste.
“We’re thrilled to bring that to life with our new Starbucks RTD Matcha Latte and Matcha Latte Strawberry across several EMEA markets.”

The Matcha Latte comes in green packaging, while the Strawberry Matcha Latte has a distinctive pink-and-green design.
It comes as Starbucks has also launched a ready-to-drink version of its seasonal Pumpkin Spice flavour.

It is the first time the cult autumn favourite has been sold as a chilled, ready-to-drink Frappuccino in the UK.
The limited-edition Pumpkin Spice bottle has an RRP of £2.20 and is currently available in Sainsbury’s.
Meanwhile, the £2 Matcha Latte and Strawberry Matcha Latte are set to remain on shelves all year round.
Prices are manufacturer recommendations, meaning the amount shoppers pay may vary between retailers.
