McDonald’s has unveiled a limited-edition wedding item that customers will not be able to buy in its restaurants.
Only 20 couples will get their hands on the personalised keepsakes as part of a new competition from the fast food chain.
McDonald’s has taken one of the smallest parts of its regular meals and transformed it into an unusual gift.

The mystery item is a personalised McDonald’s sauce pot, intended to be served with fries as a late-night wedding snack, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Called ‘Wedding Flavours’, the limited-edition pots feature space for a bespoke message on the lid.

Couples can also personalise an outer sleeve, creating a wedding favour that can be enjoyed during the celebrations or saved as a keepsake.
McDonald’s said the promotion was inspired by couples and their guests making a late-night trip to its restaurants following wedding receptions.
The new pots are designed to bring that tradition directly to the party without guests having to make a detour on their way home.

However, the personalised packaging is not being placed on general sale.
McDonald’s is instead giving couples the chance to win the bespoke product for their big day.

The competition will launch on the official @McDonaldsUK Instagram account at 5pm today (10 August).
