A woman who lives in an apartment overlooking a Premier League stadium has labelled it a dating red flag, with football-loving gold diggers messaging her to watch the match.
Noemi Oberhauser lives in a flat that some fans could only dream of – but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
The 26-year-old lives directly above the Brentford Stadium, also known as the Gtech Community Stadium.

Despite having a perfect view of the pitch, she claims that it’s actually hampering her dating life – with penny pinching blokes using her just to watch the game for free.
“That’s also become kind of a red flag for me,” Noemi, from London, told What’s The Jam.
“If someone’s mentioning the apartment in the first few texts that‘s a no for me.

“I’ve had guys before where I could clearly tell they only wanted to go out with me so they could see the apartment.
“I think I’ve had one or two people ghost me after seeing the pitch, which is quite funny in hindsight.”

The apartment sets the singer back £1,200 a month in rent – and keeps her on her toes in the dating world.
Noemi first started sharing videos of her apartment online in 2024, which quickly went viral.
The videos have helped boost her Instagram followers up to over 32,000 and whilst majority of the reaction is positive – it does attract a few cheeky footy fans.

Noemi said: “I did have quite a few people message me about dates when they first saw the videos, however I rarely reply to Instagram DMs.
“I also don’t think I‘d like that to be the way a date would start; I’m pretty old school when it comes to these things.
“I did date people in the past that told me after a while that they had seen my videos before, I didn’t really care too much though.
“I think normally I’m pretty good at telling who is genuine and who is just trying to use me for my apartment or views.”

With ticket prices skyrocketing and limited seats available for away fans, Noemi has revealed her DMs get flooded by fans of rival teams.
Each home matchday for Brentford sees a number of cheeky supporters trying to get a free view of their side.
One set of frugal fans consistently ask her to watch the game from the apartment when they come to the stadium – which is Arsenal.
She said: “I get plenty of messages off people asking if they could come by to watch the match.
“Some offer to bring snacks and turn it into a cute date and sometimes people even offer to pay me money so they can watch the match from my house.
“Especially from fans from big teams, for example Arsenal I get quite a few messages because it’s sometimes hard for them to get tickets for the away matches at Brentford.”
It’s not just football fans who are interested in the apartment, however, as she added some influencers pretend it’s their own property.
She said: “I’ve also had a few influencers reach out to me asking if they could shoot content at my apartment for their social channels.
“I’ve had some influencers in the past that used me to get some viral content and pretended it was their apartment, so even with things like collaborations I’m a bit more careful now.”
Despite having a few run-ins with gold diggers only wanting to use her for the view of the pitch, Noemi has seen an upside to her ‘dating disasters’.
The experiences she has had since moving into the flat has actually inspired her music career.
She said: “The upside is that my dating disasters tend to make for my best songs, so I can’t complain too much.
“A few of those tracks are actually coming out later this year.”
