A jilted woman was filmed smashing up a balloon display after her fella rejected her public marriage proposal.
The footage showed the smitten lady, wearing a white floral dress, taking out a ring box and dropping to one knee in front of her nonplussed partner.
They stood in front of several clusters of white balloons, a white curtain backdrop and a large glittering question mark.

The man stroked his chin as she popped the question.
He apparently shook his head before attempting to walk away from the display area.
Still on one knee, the woman encouraged him to stay and they apparently exchanged heated words.
The jilted lover was then seen smashing up the balloon display in a fit of rage in front of shocked onlookers.
The reluctant groom stood watching with his hand on his chin.

Witnesses described the atmosphere as shifting from “excitement to extreme awkwardness” within seconds.
The disastrous proposal took place in Guatemala last week.
The video went viral on X with 170,000 views and hundreds of comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Many users described the scene as “cringe” and warned against public proposals.
One local said: “You don’t gift pearls to a pig – a woman bears children, that bloke can’t even provide for them.”
“That’s one for all the times women have humiliated men in public,” added another.
Hector remarked: “The fella looks like a bum, hahaha.”
