The viral moment was filmed at Madison’s home in Panama City, Florida, US.
The 36-year-old engineer says she first discovered her unusual pet hiding there around a year ago after repeatedly hearing strange noises coming from the bathroom.

Madison said: “I first discovered him in the toilet bowl about a year ago after hearing weird noises coming from the bathroom and thinking my house might be haunted because I could NEVER find him.
“Then one day I rushed in during an emergency… and almost had the worst surprise of my life.
“That’s when I found him just sitting in the toilet like a little porcelain goblin, completely unbothered.”

The clip shows Chucky comfortably curled up in the bowl before staring at his stunned owner.
Madison said she was initially horrified before bursting into laughter.
She said: “I was shocked for about two seconds and then immediately started laughing because what even is that??

“Of all the places a cat could be… he picked THAT.”
Since discovering Chucky’s strange hiding spot, Madison says she has been forced to install childproof locks on all the toilets in the house.
She said: “Since then, my OCD has gone into full survival mode trying to keep everything clean.
“Every toilet in the house now has childproof locks, which I never thought I’d need for a cat, but apparently I live with a toilet enthusiast.”
Madison says Chucky has several other chaotic habits – including destroying water bowls and demanding treats.
She added: “Chucky definitely has other… ‘quirks.’

“He is OBSESSED with water and has declared war on every water bowl I’ve ever bought.
“I’ve gone through at least 10 and none of them have survived.”
She also revealed the mischievous feline constantly attempts to steal treats from the kitchen.
Madison said: “He’s also a full-time treat criminal.
“Anytime anyone even looks in the direction of the kitchen, he runs over, stares at the top of the fridge where we keep the treats (because he WILL knock them off the counter, break into them, and eat everything), and then screams at us like we’re starving him.
“At this point, he’s basically in charge and we just live here.”
Viewers were left stunned by the discovery, with one saying: “Imagine having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and you’re half asleep…”
Others were quick to point out that a simple fix could solve the problem.
Someone said: “My bathroom doors stay shut so I don’t have this problem.”

Another viewer commented: “Have you tried the child-proofing locks?”
Someone added: “Maybe get him a small kitty pool… and a child lock for the toilet.”
One viewer actually said their cat did the same, and could explain why, too.

They said: “Mine was doing the same thing until i learned that their food and water should be separated bc they think that the water is filthy if it’s close to the food.”
