While the main park reopens this week, visitors will have to wait a little longer before tackling the towering new addition.
Aqualand, at Cliff Lakes in Tamworth, near Birmingham, will reopen on Saturday (2 May), with the X Tower set to launch on Saturday (23 May), just in time for the second Bank Holiday weekend and school holidays, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The X Tower, featuring six slides, including dual racing lanes and steep drop sections designed for maximum thrills.
The new attraction is part of a wider expansion at the site, with another addition – the “Wibit Wave” – also arriving this summer.
The wave-style slide stretches 15 metres and is five metres high, offering a more playful but still energetic ride.

Those wanting to try the X Tower will need to pay an additional £5 upgrade on top of standard admission.
With warmer weather on the horizon and a brand-new thrill ride in the works, the attraction is expected to draw crowds looking to cool off – and test their nerve.
