Toddler accidentally turns cat BLUE after getting hands on chalk paint

A toddler accidentally turned a cat blue after getting its hands on a roller of chalk paint.

The child’s parent tried everything to get the colour off – which had also been smeared on the walls, carpets and floors.

While it was removed on the surfaces, the dye wouldn’t budge when it came to the cat.

In a last ditch effort, the pet owner took to Reddit to ask for help in how to make their moggy orange again.

And the internet did not disappoint – with 40,000 reactions and over 1,400 comments.

“I don’t where else I can post this, if you do please let me know,” said the cat’s owner, named only as Jozee_hog.

“This morning before I woke up my toddler got into chalk paint and got it all over my walls carpets and floors and CAT, it’s all been cleaned except my cat, I’ve tried dry brushing, a bath, and damp brushing but he still looks like this.

“I don’t know what else I can try, ChatGPT is suggesting coconut or olive oil as a last resort.

“Does anyone have any suggestions before I try this?”

Reddit users were left in stitches, with many suggesting to simply accept that this was now a blue cat.

Others compared the moggy to the Navi from the Avatar movie franchise, as reported by What’s The Jam.

“The all-caps EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP with the first picture sent me, I laughed for 5 minutes straight,” said one person.

Someone else added: “Yeah I don’t know what I expected when I clicked on a post that said ‘EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP’ but it certainly wasn’t this. I’m sobbing laughing so hard.”

Another person said: “Same I can’t stop it hurts.”

“He looks like a Navi,” added someone else.

“I find it even funnier because the cat doesn’t seem to care,” said another viewer, to which someone else replied: “Or their blue cat is partially orange.”

Someone else joked: “Have you considered orange chalk? Seems you have 2 options, orange chalk the head, or chalk the rest of the cat blue.”

The cat owner seemed impressed with the suggestion, replying: “If I had gold it would be yours.”

The product in question was Bring On The Sun’s Roller Chalk, a non-toxic washable outdoor item normally used for sidewalk street art.
