A man has revealed what it’s like to try the “most expensive burger in London” – complete with a caviar garnish and a price tag that’ll make your eyes water.

Carmie Sellitto, who’s built a 1.3 million-strong TikTok following by reviewing restaurants and testing whether their hefty prices are worth it, took on the luxury bite at Otto’s.

The 26-year-old Londoner headed to the Bloomsbury-based old-world French restaurant, known for its velvet décor, antiques, and high-end dishes such as Canard à la Presse served with theatrical flair, as well as classic steak tartare and escargots.

Carmie went for Otto’s Le Burger Deluxe – a stand-alone dish costing a staggering £350.

The meat is crafted from four prime cuts, topped with a lobster claw and an entire pot of caviar.

It also comes with white sauce, egg yolk and potato crisps – and it left him blown away.

He shared the review on TikTok, where it’s already racked up more than 322,200 views.

“This is the most expensive burger in London,” Carmie told What’s The Jam.

“The lobster claw tasted pretty good.

“The meat was perfectly pink, and the taste blew me away.

“I was so confused – it was just crazy biting into such expensive meat.

“Then the man who made the burger came over and gave me some mustard, but I was just glad to be in his presence.

“As it is a burger, you’re supposed to try it all at once, so I had a bit of everything in my mouthful and trust me, I was blown away.

“But if you’re wondering if I’d spend £300 on this burger again – obviously not.”

In the TikTok, Carmie picks apart the dish, trying the lobster, then caviar, then meat, showing each to the camera before tucking in.

He says he was impressed – but the eye-watering cost means he won’t be going back.

He captioned the post: “I can’t believe I spent £300 on this.”

It has since collected 14,100 likes and 500 comments, with many viewers fuming that the “burger” didn’t even come with a bun, sauce, or salad.

One person said, “I guarantee if I were super rich, I would still go to Burger King for my dinner.”

Someone else added: “At £300 it should come with its own cow and an acre of field.”

Another person said: “300 for mincemeat. Nope.”

One commenter added: “£300 for a burger and they still have 1960s hospital paint on the walls.”

One follower said, “Why is caviar always an excuse to charge more for a dish? Heard it tastes foul too.”

Another added: “That’s not a burger.”

One user said, “Burger without a bun is pointless.”

And a fan asked: “Who eats a burger with a knife and fork? That’s just a fancy meatloaf.”
