Two stunned scuba divers came face to fin with a shoal of giant tuna in an incredible close-up encounter caught on camera.
The huge Atlantic bluefins – some weighing hundreds of pounds – were seen leaping from the waves just yards off the coast during a frenzied feeding session.
The brave pair, clad in wetsuits, swam right in among the action.

Eyewitness Jon Vanags watched the jaw-dropping scene unfold near Land’s End in Cornwall.
“It really showed the sheer size and power of these magnificent fish as they glided effortlessly through the water before breaching at high speed to capture their prey,” he told What’s The Jam.
“The scuba divers got in the water from the shore and swam towards the tuna.
“I didn’t see a boat or anything like that.
“It was an awe-inspiring experience that captured the excitement and raw beauty of life beneath Cornwall’s waves.”

The rare spectacle is the latest in a series of tuna sightings making a splash around Britain’s coast.
In October, a 463lb monster bluefin – big enough to feed dozens – was hauled into Brixham, Devon, after being caught on a fishing rod.
The beast, said to be almost as wide as the boat, later fetched more than £2,000 at auction.

And in August, locals in Rock, Cornwall, were stunned to spot another 300lb tuna thrashing in shallow waters before it later washed ashore.
At first, beachgoers thought the massive creature was a dolphin – until they realised it was an ultra-rare Atlantic bluefin.
That dramatic sighting happened just a stone’s throw from celeb chef Gordon Ramsay’s plush seaside pad overlooking the beach.
