A savvy British shopper has reviewed tubs of Christmas chocolates and has revealed the one shocking theme amongst them all.
Glenn Kennedy often shares his penny-pinching advice on his dedicated Facebook page.
He reviews certain deals – and seasonal foods – found in British supermarkets.

And, most recently, he tackled the iconic box of Christmas chocolates.
But instead of feeling sick and stuffed to the brim with a sugar rush, he made a different shocking discovery.
“Tubs seem to shrink every year,” Glenn, from Llandudno, Wales, told What’s The Jam.
“Shrinkflation is happening all the time.”
So, which chocs offer more ‘bang for your buck’ or will leave you uttering: ‘Bah! Humbug!’

A tub of Roses used to be 300g, but has now been whittled down to 290g.
He said: “When it’s not on offer, it’s £5, which is a big increase.
“Years ago, we used to work off 100g per £1 – but that’s long gone.”

“[There’s just so much] less in the box.”
Celebrations, which retail for £6 in Tesco, are 550g.
Glenn suggests opting for the tub over the Celebrations Advent calendar, which is £10 for a measly 215g.
Heroes, however, is £7 for the same amount.
Quality Street is a whopping £9 for a refillable bag weighing 685g,
Glenn added, “Don’t be ripped off this Christmas.
“It’s a festive time, it’s a nice time – don’t let the big supermarkets and the big suppliers enjoy Christmas on your behalf.
“There are lots of ways to get around saving money and not skimping out.
“Get the products in as early as you can, when you see the offer.
“Some of the offers [as they get nearer to Christmas] go as the suppliers know we will have more choice.
“But prices will change all the time in every shop, especially on the run up to Christmas.”
