Commuters were amazed after the public address system at a London Underground station started playing rap music.

Travellers were left baffled by it.

Transport for London bosses say they have launched a probe.

It happened at Bond Street station on the Central and Jubilee lines on Monday, (25 Aug), as reported by What’s The Jam.

One commuter filmed it and said: “Bro, where is this music coming from?

“Who has hacked the speakers’?

He added: “What the, someone hacked the speakers, nah.”

It is thought the track being broadcast was by Playboi Carti.

Londoners saw the funny side of it.

One said: “It’s London, city of surprises.”

While someone else claimed: “The staff forgot to turn off the Bluetooth.”

A TfL spokesperson confirmed they were investigating what happened.

Jordan Terrell Carter known as Playboi Carti, is an American rapper and singer known for his eccentric vocal style and fashion.

He is considered an influential figure in modern hip hop and a pioneer of the rage microgenre.
