The royal family is hiring a chef to make King Charles’ favourite meals, including pheasant pie and cheesy baked eggs.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are on the lookout for a new sous chef at Buckingham Palace.
The successful applicant will plan menus and cook for royal functions, as reported by What’s The Jam.

In 2020, Clarence House revealed that King Charles’ favourite brunch recipe was cheesy baked eggs.
He also occasionally opts for heartier meals, like pheasant pie and risotto.
The role requires 45 hours a week from Monday to Sunday at different royal residences.
The salary is described as “competitive with benefits”.

The applicant will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure “seamless operations and the highest standards of service quality, supporting the Head Chef with ordering, stock control and menu planning, making suggestions for new or improved items”, the advert adds.
They will also assist with the preparation of food for a range of events and requirements daily, as well as “train, inspire and supervise junior chefs, developing their skills in a range of cooking and preparation techniques across all sections of the kitchen”.
