It happened at the East Palmersville Sports Pavilion in Newcastle upon Tyne.
West Allotment Celtic FC, who play in the ninth tier of the English football pyramid, were due to play Seaham Red Star FC on Friday (17 Jan)
However, the game was postponed much to the disappointment of both sides and fans due to the pitch being covered in goose poo.
On 19 January, the pitch invaders returned to the scene of the crime with a match official catching them at the ground.
An official attempted to clear the wild geese from the pitch, as reported by What’s The Jam.

This also included a raffle for a bottle of grey goose with anyone who bought five tickets getting geese themed T-shirts and jumpers as well.
The tops that read ‘I helped save a non league club football club from geese’ are going for £20 and £22.50.
