A social media star has gone under the knife in a bid to transform her confidence and tackle the stigma of women getting hair transplants.
Léa Mary, who has over two million followers online, received hair plugs and an eyebrow transplant.
The 26-year-old says the procedure has “changed her life”.

She first decided to have the work done after noticing that her hair was starting to thin and her eyebrows were becoming sparse.
It soon began to affect Léa’s confidence – especially as she was constantly in the spotlight online.
“I did this treatment because I didn’t like my forehead when I was doing a ponytail,” Léa, who is originally French but currently lives in Miami, told What’s The Jam.
“I felt like there was too much space.
“I chose to have an eyebrow transplant so that I could have them thicker.”

Léa travelled over 4000 miles to London to have the procedures carried out by Dr Ducu, an aesthetics doctor.
The clinic lists prices for hair plugs between £3,000-£4,500 while a brow transplant can cost anything from £4,500 to £5,500.
Meaning Léa has splashed out up to £10,000 for her transformation.

She experienced a little bit of pain the night after her surgery but says that any bruises and swelling was gone within 10 days.
With a career spanning over a decade, Dr. Ducu specialises in hair restoration.
He strived to help Léa achieve the most natural-looking results possible.
“Léa’s case was a perfect example of how targeted hair restoration can make a significant impact,” Dr. Ducu told What’s The Jam.
“We focused on enhancing her natural beauty by restoring the hairline affected by thinning and giving her eyebrows a fuller, more defined shape.
“This was followed by our DNA Hair Test to discover the reasoning behind the thinning and offer a personalised topical solution for her hair health.
“The results are subtle yet transformative, aligning perfectly with her aesthetic goals.”
Hair transplants are becoming more popular among women, including high-profile celebrities.
It has been claimed that Naomi Campbell, Keira Knightley and Jennifer Aniston have reportedly undergone similar procedures.
Léa had the work done in September 2023 and, almost a year on, is thrilled with the results.
She added: “I’m very happy with the results.
“It has completely changed my life.
“I can do whatever I want as a hairstyle.
“I love the way it looks and I love my eyebrows. They look amazing.
“I really recommend this procedure to all women.”
